As you entered the water, there were little stones. But not very welcoming. However, after a while walking on the stones, there would be sand. That soft nice sand which is felt by the feet, as a caress.
This made me think: isn’t this walk like everything in life?
You need to work hard for a while in order to be able to enjoy the achievement later? So the stones may harm you and feel uncomfortable, just like obstacles on your way but you need to be persevering and to keep going. After , you will get to the sand, the prize.
But of course, once you get to the sand, you can’t settle there and you will have to keep going…which means that there will be more stones but also junks of sand.
What do you think? Is this a reasonable analogy?
